Federal Aviation Administration: Branding

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) In-house Branding
I still can’t believe how much fun I had working for a government agency! I was always told, if I worked for an US government agency, it would be the most boring and mundane job ever. However, I soon learned it is what you make it. If you present exciting, creative, on-brand design options, you will receive exciting and creative projects in return.
Results:
I fought through the slow and boring government design stereotypes and discovered one of the most creative lanes in my career. I designed an on-brand Report Wildlife Strikes poster series and it turned out to be an exciting and fulfilling experiences!

The Debrief: FAA In-house Report Wildlife Strikes
The FAA was experiencing an abnormal amount of wildlife strikes. They needed to boost the awareness for ALL of the airport employees (not just the grounds crew). At the time, the current posters were a little gory which included bloody bird remains smeared across the plane’s windshields. The FAA was hoping for something a little more eye-catching and a little less disturbing. These are a few of the results.

The Debrief: FAA In-house CFC Event
The FAA participated in the annual CFC event. As an effort to bring awareness to the entire FAA staff, I was tasked with creating a series of large format banners to be displayed throughout the entire agency.
